![]() The whole system is just one giant tedious grind unless you shell out gobs of cash from you pocket. That's barely enough to enter a tournament that I know I won't score well in because my golfer is only rated 74 and that's because I can't earn enough rewards to buy those stupid random rotating specs. I have earned 8 tickets in 6 hours of play. You also need to earn tickets to enter tournaments that will allow you to win some of the bigger rewards.problem is it takes forever to earn tickets as well. Hitting a ball unto a green 10 times is not my idea of fun or challenge. You can win/earn small amounts of rewards by completing challenges. For example I can earn 2,000 rewards with a pro pass or 1,200 without it after collecting x amount of pro pass points to even earn the reward in the first place. A lot of the big earnings are tied to the new pro pass, which costs money. It also seems like a waste to buy specs that do minimal increases that you will ultimately replace. My golfer feels completely stagnant because I can't afford to upgrade any further without grinding for more rewards. I really hate how hard it is to earn rewards/money. After 6 hours of play I have only earned approx 12,000. It's not bad enough that these specs randomly rotate but they cost upwards 18,000. The only way to truly make a difference and continue to grow your character is by buying the legendary specs that randomly rotate through the store. Turns out all equipment is just cosmetic. You would think that buying better equipment would help you play better.nope. ![]() You have this store full of clubs and balls that you can spend your hard earned rewards/money on. Leveling up your character only gets you so far though. Not because you are playing any better though, it happens because the odds of hitting a better shot become more in your favor. As you level up your golfer that gray spot becomes smaller and you notice you start scoring better. It's totally random with zero consistency. If you hit the perfect shot then the ball will land somewhere within the gray circle. When you first start off, your golfer plays like garbage. There is no downside to having options.I love playing the game, however, the game just makes me feel so unaccomplished. As far as I am aware, this is not included in most golf games but are present in nearly every other sports game. ![]() While we are on the topic of customization, they should add tattoos as well. Not only does it make the game feel real, but it adds customization for online play. If I am playing career mode, I do not want to be wearing basic khakis and a simple shirt while using generic clubs, I want branded clothes and real clubs. EA should learn from their competitors and notice that it would be worth the investment. This is because custom courses drastically lengthen the game’s shelf life as you could play a new course every day. That may be the best feature in PGA Tour 2K21. On top of that, the ability to create custom courses would be a tremendous addition. If we can get around 10 more courses, I would be happy. Obviously, that has limits and can be difficult. First, they should add more real courses. While EA has already secured 12 strong courses they need more. In my opinion, the number one thing that makes golf games boring is having to replay the same courses over and over. More Real Courses & Custom CoursesĪs I alluded to, I want this game to have as many courses as possible. It looks like EA agrees as they noted to check back for more course updates. Personally, I would like to see a few more. This includes Augusta National Golf Club, Pebble Beach Golf Links, Southern Hills Country Club, Kiawah Island Golf Resort’s Ocean Course, Torrey Pines, The Country Club in Brookline, Mass, The Old Course at St Andrews Links, Evian Resort Golf Club, TPC Southwind, Wilmington Country Club, and East Lake Golf Club. Elite CoursesĮA Sports has already announced 12 courses that will be available for play. This will certainly help spice up career mode in comparison to other golf games. At first glance, this may not seem noteworthy, but because EA has secured the rights to all four major tournaments, 2K Sports will not have these tournaments in their game. ![]() ![]() Open Championship and The Open Championship. Per the EA Sports PGA Tour website, the game will have all four major tournaments: the Masters Tournament, PGA Championship, U.S. Experience the next generation of championship golf ?️?
